Recently, the Moon Fleur team had the opportunity to work with a couple in Singapore for their outdoor wedding setup with faux flower arrangements and we loved how it all turned out!
After reaching the wedding venue located at Little Island Brewing Co at Changi Village, our team started to prepare our setup for an evening outdoor wedding event at the location. The bride chose a rather crimson red theme for the flowers, which the Moon Fleur Florist team had already prepared the arrangement in segment pieces. What’s left to be done would be to put the pieces together and make sure the arrangement is complete at the venue.
For this wedding event, the couple engaged our team for a flower backdrop arch and also wedding reception table decorations.
As this is an outdoor event, our florist recommended to use faux flowers, known for its durability especially in a climate like Singapore (i.e. weather). Due to the nature of faux flowers, you do not have to worry if sunlight or rainfall will affect the arrangement as it is made to last.
Our team did the setup in the afternoon, so that we can get the setup ready by the evening for the wedding dinner event. However, unbeknownst to us, it started raining for the evening and the outdoor setup has to be shifted indoors.
Though feeling a bit bummed (we want to see the faux flower arch outdoors at night), it actually wasn’t as bad as we thought it would be after shifting the setup indoors. We did some impromptu changes, wrapped some fairy lights around the flower arch and managed to make the whole setup look romantic and ethereal. Same goes to the reception table, where the ball lights were turned on, giving off a dreamy vibe.
Some of our team members were invited to the wedding event, where we celebrated with the couple on their union on this very special day. It warms us to see that our work brings much joy to the couple, as well as the guests who were there taking photos with the couple using the flower arch that we did.
As our very first engagement for an outdoor wedding setup, our team worked hard to meet the needs of our client as much as we could. We look forward to working with more couples on their special day for wedding flower arch, wedding decorations, reception table decorations and more!
